Daughter of Charles Oscar Berghman and Hilda Bernhardena Mathilda Andersson Berghman. A talented violinist, she went to study in Washington, DC, chaperoned by her older sister Walberg. She was practicing her violin on her hotel room balcony when the balcony collapsed and she fell to her death, at the age of 18.
