He and his wife served as missionaries in the Panama Canal Zone. Serving primarily in San Paulo, Brazil.
Rev. Mott studied organ at Florida State University. He was a lifelong member of the American Guild of Organist.
Bob was a member of First Baptist Church in Bainbridge.
He is survived by:
his daughter
his son and his wife
six grandchildren
six great-grandchildren
several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by:
his parents, Robert Lee Mott and Mary Leatha Sasser Mott
Services for Rev. Mott were held on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at New Fountainhead Baptist Church. The Rev. Marty Brock and Mr. Brannon Brock officiated. A private interment will be held in New Fountainhead Cemetery.
