Lota B. Funkhouser, 81, of 301 Wagner Road, Kelso, died March 24, 1992 in a local nursing home. She was born Sept. 18, 1910. in Orofino, ID.

She helped raise her younger brothers and sisters, then worked as a housekeeper in Lewiston, ID. She came to Kelso from John Day, OR. She lived in John Day 12 years, and Pendleton, OR, 36 years.

Surviving are a brother, Pete Funkhouser of Anchorage; three nieces, including Elsie Harper of Kelso. Deceased are 13 brothers and sisters, including Tom Funkhouser in 1985.

Interment will be at Longview Memorial Park.
