Pvt Co D 2nd TX Cavalry C.S.A.
Proud Confederate Soldier

This grave appears to be the first recording of the grave of Henry Davis. (I believe to be the long time sheriff, Miss Kate Hunter refers to in her papers). Records show he was buried in the Old Cemetery, but someone has put markers for them in the New Addition. Or someone has transposed the birth date wrong. The same birthdate shows up on the burial records.
Is Henry Clay and Henry the same person.
