Mrs. Gladys Downes CHICOS 74, of Rockville section of Vernon, Wife of Micheal Chicos died Saturday in Rockville General Hospital. Born in Ellington to John Ralph and Etta M Newell Downes, she lived in the Vernon-Ellington area all her life. Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Miss Eleanor Chicos of Rockville and a sister, Mrs Ethel Shubert of East Hartford.
The funeral: Monday 11 a. m. Ladd Funeral Home 19 Ellington Ave., Rockville with the Rev John W Mortimer officiating.
Burial: Crysal Lake Cemetery, Ellington. Calling hours None
