Mr. G.E. Howe, one of the old settlers of this place, died at 1023 Dayton Ave., Wichita, last Wednesday, Oct. 23. He has been in poor health for some time. Funeral services were held at the Council Hill church, near his late home, on Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock, conducted by Elder D.T. Broadus, of Wichita. Interment took place in the Council Hill cemetery. He leaves a wife, two sons and one daughter, and several grandchildren to mourn his demise.
