Gary D. Danbury, 62, of Minonk, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at 12:23 a.m. at his home.
A visitation will be Sunday, June 30, 2019 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home in Pontiac. A private family graveside will be at Minonk Township Cemetery in Minonk, IL at a later date.

Gary was born November 23, 1956 in Decatur, IL to William and Delores (Frakes) Danbury. Delores survives in Decatur. He married Janet Frost on July 21, 2007 in Minonk, IL. She survives in Minonk.
Also surviving are his children, Timothy W. Danbury of Minonk, IL, Leah M. (Brandon) Hartley of Minonk, IL, Laura R. Danbury of Sterling, IL, Tyler F. vonNordheim of Pattensburg, IL, Kristin M. vonNordheim of Minonk, IL, and Kimberly M. Turner of Minonk, IL; sister, Carol (Tim) Wilcox of Decatur, IL; and grandchildren, Emma, Makenna, Caleb, Dominick, Lilly, Dallas, Logan, Mia, Elena, Cole, and Alexa.
He was preceded in death by his father, William; two brothers, William and Terry Danbury; and one sister, Mary Haney.
Gary was a graduate of Stephen Decatur High School, Class of 1974. He worked at SMF, Inc. in Minonk for many years and later was self-employed in construction. He was a member of St. Paul UCC in Minonk, IL.
