He was born April 27, 1948, in Gorman, Texas to Luther Alton Auvenshine and Viola Mattie Green Auvenshine.
Ronnie lived in Comanche County all of his life. He retired from Comanche County as Equipment Operator after many years of service. He enjoyed many hobbies including arrowhead hunting, fishing, and tinkering with anything mechanical. Ronnie loved his family and friends dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
Surviving Ronnie are his adopted children, Edward Bennett and wife, Brenda; brothers, Wayland Auvenshine and Lloyd Auvenshine and wife, Kathy; sister, Mada Godfrey; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents; sister-in-law, Sheila Auvenshine; and brother-in-law, Gary Godfrey.
