NYSSA — Kenneth Richardson Smith, 58, a farmer in the Nyssa area, died Thursday at his home.
Mr. Smith was born April 1, 1910 at Lewiston, Utah. He married Alice Belles on Feb. 4, 1936 at La Grande, Ore.
He is survived by his wife, Alice, Nyssa; five sons, Richard Smith, Seattle, Roger Smith, Nyssa, Thomas C. Smith, Fruitland, Stanley Smith, Nyssa, and Lawrence Smith, Nyssa; two daughters, Mrs. Effie Shy, Mesa, Calif., and Miss Aneta Larue Smith, Nyssa; four brothers, Clifford Smith, Ray Smith, Don Smith, all of Nyssa, and Ned Smith, Fremont, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Elmira Ellis, Caldwell; his mother, Mrs. Rosa Smith, Nyssa; and three grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the Owyhee Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Bishop Wayne L. Berrett will officiate. Interment will be at Owyhee.
