She was born in St. Joseph, MO and had lived in this area since 1921. Mrs. Hilts was a member of Cure of Ars Catholic Church and it's women's club. She was a member of the Catholic Women's Club and the Eucharistic Guild. She was a member of Tri Psi Sorority.
Her Husband, the late Glenn F. Hilts, was president of the Board of Trade in 1950 and retired in 1953 as vice-president in charge of Southwest operations for the former Commander Larabee Milling Company. Mr. Hilts died Jan 4, 1973.
She leaves two sons, Glenn F. Hilts, Jr. of Prairie Village, KS. and Richard A. Hilts, Indianapolis; four daughters, Miss. Clara Frances Hilts and Miss. Dorothy E. Hilts, both of the home; Mrs. Betty Ann Duffy, Oklahoma City, and Mrs. Margarat Ann Noonan, Overland Park, KS and six grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the church; burial in Calvary Cemetery. The rosary will be said at 4:00 p.m. Sunday by the church woman's club and at 8:00 p.m. by the parish, both at the Newcomers Overland Park Chapel, where friends may call after 3:00 p.m. Sunday.
