Henry C. Allen, 74, of 931 N. 24th St., was dead on arrival at Deaconess Hosptial Wednesday night from an apparent heart attack.

He was born May 1, 1902, in Denver, Ill., a son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Allen, and he attended schools in Illinois. For a time he lived in Oregon and Idaho, and in 1929, moved to Hysham.

He married Agnes F. Cole Nov. 21, 1934, in Billings.

Mr. Allen had worked from 1935 to 1967 as a service man for Montana Dakota Utilities. After his retirement, he worked summers at North Park in Billings.

He was a member of the Trinity Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include the widow; a son, Charles W. Allen of 2522 Miles Ave.; a brother, Charles Allen of Pendelton, Ore.; two sisters, Mrs. Louise Corder of Carthage, Ill., and Mrs. Gene Kretsch of Arvada, Wyo., and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, the Rev. Carl Green of Trinity Nazarene Church officiating.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
