Tabitha and John had two children; John Henry Tuggle (1849-1920) and Mary Jane Tuggle (1852-1907).

Tabitha married Thomas Bridgewater Carpenter (1828-1895). She was 24 years, 4 months and 9 days old.

Tabitha and Thomas had six children; Margaret L. Carpenter (1855-1928), Martha Ann Carpenter (1859-1900), Richard Dixieland Carpenter (1861-1914), James Thomas Carpenter, (1863-1863), Jesse Lee Carpenter (1864-1918) and Alice Polly Leatrice Carpenter (1867-1935).

Tabitha had one sibling, George William Garrett (1825-1870).

Tabitha died Saturday, September 27, 1890, at the age of 61 years, 9 months and 26 days in Sulphur Rock, Independence County, Arkansas.

Tabitha was laid to rest in 1890 in the Sulphur Rock Cemetery, in Sulphur Rock, Independence County, Arkansas.
