Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Harold K. Polk, Jr. officiating.

Cremation will take place following the service.

Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or The Wounded Warrior Project.

Visitation 11 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Ada Mae was born on September 23, 1940 in Flint, Michigan daughter of the late Roy and Irene Lash, one of 12 children.

She was a lifelong resident of Flint, a homemaker who raised two sons here.

Later in life she married Harold Cota in May of 1989.

Ada enjoyed crocheting, visiting family and friends and held an interest in Astrology.

Mrs. Cota is survived by her sons, Timothy (Connie) Rolland and Phillip (Susan) Rolland;

her boyfriend, Abner Woodrow Hurd;

7 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter Adamay Kaylyn Harris;

3 sisters, one brother and her best friend, Jan Ferris.

Ada was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
