Edenville Pioneer Dies in Gladwin
Mrs. Josphine Boman, 90, who was born in Oakland county on January 26, 1851, died at 11:45 am yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edith Howard of Gladwin. Mrs. Boman had suffered a slight stroke last fall, but had been in good health since then. Death followed a short attack of the flu.
She had made her home in Edenville for the past 75 years, and was the widow of George W. Boman, an old time lumberman.
She is survived by seven children, George of Abbotsford, Mrs. Tina Adams of Midland, Guy of East Tawas, John of Edenville, Mrs. Myrtle Taylor and Fred both of Secord. There are 26 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother Clarence Harris of Edenville, a half brother Jake Harris of Detroit and a half sister Clara Harris, also of Detroit.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Sunday at the Methodist church at Edenville with Elder Coates officiating. Burial will be in Edenville
cemetery.
