He was born in Wilkes County to Troy C. Foster Sr., and Gladys Cardwell Foster. He was an employee of C. D. Coffey Wholesale Distributors and a member of Wilkesboro Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother and one sister.
Services were conducted Thursday morning at Wilkesboro Baptist Church. Burial followed in Mount Lawn Memorial Park in Wilkesboro.
Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home in North Wilkesboro was in charge of the arrangements.
