Garrett Ackerson, a farmer living east of this city died suddenly yesterday afternoon from the effects of a stroke of appoplexy, aged 71 years.
Dr. Wilson was called late in the afternoon, but Ackerson was dead before he could be reached. Coroner Feltman was notified and held an inquest this morning.
