MURIEL and JAMES' first son Homer Eugene Rowntree, was born 4 January 1907 in Mountain View, Kiowa, Oklahoma. Kiowa was quite a ways from Cleveland. She must have been homesick!
The 1910 census shows the family living in McClain, Oklahoma, which is just west of Purcell. Now they were closer to MURIEL's family.
By the time Daughter Julia Ann Rowntree (Schrodt) was born 05 Jul 1915 the family was back near JAMES' family in Tishomingo, Johnston, Oklahoma. This is where son Thomas Alvan Rowntree was born 31 Jan 1917 as well.
