Paul Walker, 93, of Hico, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 17, 2019 at his home following a long illness.
Born on February 5, 1926, he was the son of the late Grover and Edith Hypes Walker.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers Tom, Roy, James and Fran Walker; sister, Clara Bell Walker.
Paul was a member of Victor United Methodist Church where he was a Sunday school Superintendent and most enjoyable song leader. He was a US Army WWII veteran.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Ruth Walker; sons, Alvin (Jenny) Walker, Gerald (Susan) Walker, Mike (Jamie) Walker; daughter, Paula (Brian) Ramsey; grandchildren, Jamey (Tara) Walker, Matt (Crystal)Walker, Missy (Nathan)Mooney, Chris(fiancée, Jessie) Walker, Nathan (Stacey))Ramsey, Emily (Michael) Donnelly, Natalie(Junior) Lesher, Ashley (Michael) King, Hollie (Josh) Hough, Aaron Walker; 18 great grandchildren; honoree daughter, Sharon Campbell; honoree son , Ralph Campbell.
Service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 21, 2019 at Wallace & Wallace Chapel, Ansted. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memory Gardens, Victor. Friends may call 6-8 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
