Frank Clevenger Dies Friday

ELWOOD -- Frank Clevenger, 88, of 1818 South M St., Elwood, died Friday at 2:15 a.m. at Mercy Hospital.

A retired employe at Delco-Remy plant, he was born June 11, 1876, in Switzerland County, Ind. He was a member of the Elwood Baptist Church at Elwood.

He was married in 1907 to Miss Ada Snyder, who died in 1914. Later he was married to Edith M. Seymour who survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Weldon Lytle of Elwood; a step-daughter, Mrs. Elsie Pope of Mooresville; two grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

The body was taken to the Copher and Fesler Funeral Home where friends may call after noon Sunday. Services will be conducted there at the mortuary at 1 p.m. Monday by the Rev. J. E. McCoy of the East Main Street Christian Church. Burial will be in the Elwood City Cemetery.
