BURIAL OF JUDGE CHENAULT

The body of Judge William Chenault
Dean of the law faculty of Central Uni
versity who died last week at Colorado
Springs Colorado reached here
Tuesday night and was deposited in
the cemetery vault until Wednesday
afternoon at 4 oclock when the inter
ment took place beside his beloved
wife in the Richmond cemetery. The
funeral exercises being under the auspices
of the Richmond Bar Association,
Judge C.H. Breck and others paid glowing
tributes to the memory of the deceased
and suitable resolution on his
death were read prepared by a committee
of his brother lawyers appointed
for that purpose. A handsome floral
design from the Bar Association was
placed upon his grave And when the
earth closed above his mortal remains
truly could it be said an elder fu Israel
has fallen. Requisecat in pace!

Daughter of William Chenault (1835-1901) and Anna Catherine Givens, (1837-74), his wife. Granddaughter of Joseph P. Chenault (1811-60) and Narcissa Old ham (1814—79), his wife, m. 1839; Richard Wallace Givens (1814-89) and Isabella Paxton (1819-84), his wife, m. 1836.
