Gabriel G. Abellada, 102, Waipahu, Hawaii, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at the Excela Latrobe Hospital in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.
Born, February 20, 1917 in the Philippines, he was the son of Santiago and Graciana (Gallardo) Abellada.
Gabriel worked as an automobile mechanic for many years.
He was married to Jacinta S. Servito on September 29, 1939 and she preceded him in death on March 15, 1997. He then married Teodora Esteliea and she survives.
He is also survived by two sons, Mario Abellada, Philippines, Alfredo Abellada, Philippines; three daughter, Thelma DelaCruz, Charlestown, SC, Estrelita Kintanar, Iowa, Nancy Lontok, Greensburg; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, Efren Abellada and Gabriel S. Abellada.
Visitation will be held from 8 until the time of the funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greensburg with Rev. Bill Ehalt officiating.
Interment will follow in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
