Forest Duncan Dead.
Forest Duncan died at his home in the Cherokee nation near Chetopa last night after a lingering illness with typhoid fever. For some weeks past his sister, Miss Nettie Duncan, of this city has been at his bedside tenderly nursing him. Forest was 19 years of age and the mainstay of his mother’s family since the death of his father last year. He was an industrious and exemplary young man and his loss is keenly felt by his family and all who knew him.
