Ruth Agnor Lackey, 93 of Lexington died Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at The Crossings at Iron Bridge in Chester. 

She was born Dec. 6, 1925, in Lexington, a daughter of the late George Abner Agnor and Lula Ayers Agnor.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred B. Lackey, and she was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Ruth was a long time member of the Manly Memorial Baptist Church.

Surviving are her children, Fred A. Lackey (Marci) and Susan L. Meredith (Tim); and five grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, June 17, 2019, at Harrison Funeral Chapel by Pastor Scott Lackey. Burial will follow at Stonewall Jackson Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory.
