Katherine Inez (Chapman) Master Jackson Smith, 82, of Corsicana passed away Saturday, June 16, 2007 in Corsicana.
Visitation was at 6 to 8 p.m. today at Corley Funeral Home. Services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday June 19, 2007 at Corley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Howard Garland Chapman and the Rev. Harrell Braddock, Jr. officiating. Interment followed at Oakwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Katherine Inez (Chapman) Master Jackson Smith was born Oct. 17, 1924 in Dawson. She grew up in Hubbard and spent all her adult life in Corsicana. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church for over 50 years. She was a retired secretary from Navarro Pecan Company.
She was preceded in death by first husband, Theo Master; second husband, Henry (Jack) Jackson; parents, Frank and Katherine Duke Chapman; brothers, Frank Chapman Jr. and Alvin Earl Chapman; sister, Sharon Chapman Threet; step-son, Monte Smith.
Survivors include her husband, Orel E. Smith of Corsicana; daughter and son-in-law, LIVING; granddaughter, LIVING; grandsons LIVING; great-grandchildren, LIVING; step great-grandchildren, LIVING; brothers and sisters-in-law, the Rev. Howard and Dorcas Chapman of Wichita Falls and Robert and Bobette Chapman of Payne Springs; sister and brother-in-law, Helen Ruth and Herbert Wilcox of Corsicana; brother-in-law, Billy Earl Threet; sisters-in-law, Jean Chapman and Mildred Chapman Miller; other nieces, nephews and cousins.
