From the obituary of James Bedford Martin in Jan 1927 it is stated that James was buried next to his mother in the Martin family plot.

The Glasgow Presbyterian Church records her death on Dec 13, 1883 listed as Sarah A Martin. She joined the Glasgow Presbyterian Church and was baptized in 1833 where all of her children were baptized and confirmed. Her mother in law, Letitia (Young) Martin, joined the Glasgow Presbyterian Church in 1839 after the Baptist Church dealt with her communicating with other churches, and she baptized her granddaughter, Augusta Thomas Sanders, daughter of deceased Thomas A Saunders (Sarah's brother) and Annie Martin. Augusta "Gussie" Sanders married Abraham Alanson Wagnon, son of Mary Moseley Saunders and Dr John Peter Wagnon Jr.

Sarah Ann Saunders was born 1805 in Sumner County, Tennessee to Lockey Trigg (daughter of banker William Trigg) and Edward Thomas Saunders (son of Rev War soldier Thomas Saunders).
