Mrs. Mamie Jean Bennett of Flintville community died Friday at Lincoln County Hospital. She was 64 years old and the wife of Marion Bennett, who survives.

Services were Saturday at Gallant Funeral Home, with the Rev. R. E. Burroughs and the Rev. Howard McGehee officiating. Burial was in Kelso Cemetery.

Mrs. Bennett was a native of Lincoln County and a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors other than her husband include a daughter, Mrs. Carlton Nix, Kelso; two sisters, Mrs. Lorene Mann, Kelso, and Mrs. Grace Shockley, Harvey, Ill.; two brothers, Claudie and Bud Jean, both of Flintville, and five grandchildren.
