A native of Conyers, Mr. Wesley was a member of the Woodland Hills Baptist Church. He was a retired carpenter.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Ward's Glenwood Chapel. The Rev. Alec Thompson will officiate and burial will be in The Rock Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery, Lithonia, Ga.
Survivors include his wife, the former Maude Welch; two sons, P. J. Wesley Jr., Asheville, N.C., and William D. Wesley, Denver, Colo., and two sisters, Mrs. Leola W. Prosser [she is actually his daughter] and Mrs. J. A. Brisendine, both of Atlanta.
