Civil War Veteran. Enlisted 27 Feb 1864, mustering into active service 2 Mar 1864 to Co. E; 7th Infantry Regiment; Maine Volunteers.

He was described as a 41 year old married Frankfort resident, a Joiner by trade, with brown hair, blue eyes, standing 5' 10" tall.

He transferred to Co. I; 1st Veterans Infantry Regiment 20 Sep 1864. His date & place of discharge is lost to history.

In the 1890 Vet Census it is noted he still suffered from Gunshot Wound, Shoulder
