Mary Louise Cenzalli, 99, was the daughter of Jesse and Sarah Warnock. Her childhood was spent living on a farm and then later in town. She would often walk to her father’s barber shop. After her graduation from high school, Mary moved to Richmond, IN where she started her career as a registered nurse. After meeting Jerry Cenzalli, who would later become her husband, on a blind date in 1936, she moved back to New Castle, IN.
On July 27, 1939, she married Jerry and they started their family in Wellesley, MA and in 1962, they moved to Sandy Springs, GA. After Jerry’s passing in 1966, she returned to nursing, working at Windy Hill Hospital and retiring at age 76 from North Fulton Regional Hospital. Mary’s hobbies included Knitting, smocking dresses, gardening and traveling.
She is survived by her sons, J. Richard Cenzalli (Ellen) and Ronald Cenzalli (Susan), daughters, Shirley A. Sweeney (F. Wm. Sweeney) and Susan J. Ralph, 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brothers: Charles Warnock, Donald Warnock and Myron Richard Warnock.
