Theresa “Frankie” Huck, 78, of Yakima passed away peacefully on June 6, 2019 at Fieldstone Memory Care, with her family by her side. She was born on October 1, 1940 in Yakima, WA to Jerome and Alice Perrault. She was raised on a Moxee hop farm where she enjoyed working with her 4 sisters and 1 brother. She graduated from St. Peters School of Nursing in Olympia in 1959. She married Benedict Huck in April of 1961 and they enjoyed nearly 56 years of marriage. Together, they raised 3 children, Joy, Jennifer, and Brent.
Dad and Mom raised their family on the farm, and she loved apple harvest season. She was a good cook and made great memories with her family. Laying in the yard drinking a root beer float with her grandkids, she was great at being Grammie Frankie. Mom loved to fish and would never miss opening day at Blue Lake with her family. She loved the outdoors, gardening, mountains, being with family. Frankie was a devoted member of St John Parish in Naches.
She is survived by her children, Joy (Scott) Wagner, Jennifer (Dennis) Guthmiller, and Brent (Lorna) Huck as well as 7 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, all 5 of her siblings, 2 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
A Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at 6:00PM at St. John Catholic Church. A Memorial Mass is planned for Friday, June 21, 2019 at 10:30AM also at St John Catholic Church (206 Moxee Ave, Naches). Private Inurnment will be held at Tahoma Cemetery (?? Husband is resting in Calvary). The family would like to thank Blossom House, Fieldstone Memory Care, and Memorial Hospice.
