Florine Roehl Age 84, passed away June 16, 2007 in Puyallup, WA. She was born to Carl and Effie Anderson in Orting, WA on Oct. 5, 1922. She worked as a claims administrator at the Social Security Administration for many years. She enjoyed her many years actively participating in several area Rebekah Lodges, often holding office. She also enjoyed playing Pinochle and trips to the casino with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Roehl, sons James "Ron" Johnston, Bradley Roehl, and daughter Merleen Burgess. She is survived by her son Randy (Kay Dee) Roehl of Auburn, daughter-in-law Myrna Johnston of Shelton, grandchildren John Johnston of Spokane, Jodi Mackie of Shelton, Marni Burgess of Puyallup, Jason and Jill Roehl of Auburn, and several great-grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am, with the funeral beginning at 1:00 pm on Sat., June 23, 2007 at Powers Funeral Home in Puyallup. Interment at Orting Cemetery. She will be missed by all her family and friends. Donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation in lieu of flowers.
