Glynna Despain Reinsch passed peacefully into the next world on March 2, 2019.

She was born March 16, 1929 in Prescott, Arizona to Avis Pearl Rogers and Glynn Elmer Despain.

She lived a full life with her BYU sweetheart, Cecil Albert Reinsch, serving four missions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Philippines (twice); Knoxville, Tennessee; and Mesa, Arizona. She also served in the Oakland and Mesa temples. She and Cecil raised their six children in Gilroy, California before retiring in Mesa, Arizona and Draper. She enjoyed swimming, camping, and backpacking and was known for her leadership at YW Girls Camp.

Glynna also enjoyed music, sewing, cooking, home canning, and reading. She would often clip out news articles to slip into her books or save for her children. She loved to take pictures and make photo albums. She was very proud of her pioneer ancestry, her Arizona heritage, and her membership in Daughters of Utah Pioneers.

She is survived by her husband, Cecil, of Draper; children, Deborah Kae (Gary) Gardner of Draper; William Albert (Mary Jane) of Scranton, Kansas; Thomas Glynn (Susan) of Lincoln, Nebraska; Stephen Newell (Susan) of Rancho Cordova, California; Kathryn (Edson) Estrada of Idaho Falls, Idaho; and Roger Alan (Jeanette) of Frisco, Texas; twenty-four grandchildren; forty-five great-grandchildren; and siblings, Larry Elmer (Joan) Despain and Carolyn (David) Ridenhour, both of Prescott. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Newell George Despain and Aleene Harring; daughter-in-law, Kathryn Burgess Reinsch; and great-granddaughter, Joy Weaver.

We would like to thank the staffs of Legacy Retirement and Ashford Assisted Living for their support and help in caring for Glynna.

Services for Glynna will be held at 11:00 a.m. on her ninetieth birthday, March 16, 2019, at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy. Family and friends may gather prior to the services from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
