Death of Ewell B. Attwell, nephew of the late B.R. Attwell of this town, died at his home in Washington, on Thursday last in his 61st year after a lingering illness. During the war he was a member of Mosby's famous command. A few years ago he moved to Washington where he has resided ever since. He leaves a wife and three children all grown. Interment on Saturday in Union Cemetery, at the same time as those of his old comrade in arms, Isaac C. Vandevanter, Rev. Haislip officiating.∼Co.C,43rd Va.Cav.Battn.
