Earl Ross Foore, 84, of Robertsdale, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2019, at UPMC Altoona.

Born Dec. 13, 1934, in Huntingdon, he was a son of the late Marshall Allen and Almeda Florence (Shope) Foore. He was united in marriage to the former Mary L. Pool, who preceded him in death Sept. 21, 2012.

Mr. Foore is survived by three daughters, Bonnie Minnich and husband, Roland, Green Lane, Terri Gracey and husband, Dean, Robertsdale and Mistie Foore of Robertsdale; two sons, Keith Foore of Lansdale and Robert Foore of East Greenville; nine grandchildren, Tara, Tiffany, Dustin Maddy, Ben, Shannon, Daniel, Alyssa and Daelyn; and 12 great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Madeline Horton.

Mr. Foore was a member of the Robertsdale Church of God where he was very active with church activities and enjoyed singing in the choir.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army Reserve.

Mr. Foore attended Robertsdale High School until joining the U.S. Navy.

He worked in maintenance and groundskeeping for the Tussey Mountain School District and the Lake Raystown Resort and Lodge, as well as being an inspector and laborer.

He loved camping, hunting, fishing and all holidays, but especially Christmas and Easter. He also enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, at the Robertsdale Church of God with he Rev. Nathan Starr officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the Broad Top Area Honor Guard.

Friends will be received at the church from 2 p.m. Wednesday until the hour of services.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home, Inc., 5010 Railroad Ave., Broad Top.
