Aileen Virginia (Belt) Dendy was born December 10, 1925, in Washington, D.C. to Phillip and Ethel Belt, the fourth of their four children.
She met and married Army Private Wallace Dendy on January 22, 1946. They were married for 45 wonderful years and raised three children at their home in Mississippi. After she retired, they moved to Elk Grove.
Aileen has been a member of the Elk Grove Church of Christ for almost 30 years. She loved her church, animals, reading, crossword puzzles, and bingo. And more than anything, she loved her children, her seven grandchildren, and her five great-grandchildren.
Our mom, Aileen, had a beautiful smile and a beautiful spirit every day. She will be forever in our hearts.
