Charles H. Card, 84, Was Pittstown Native
Charles H. Card, 84, of St. Patrick's Lane, Cambridge, died Sunday following a long illness. He was born in Pittstown February 21, 1882, and was a resident of the Town of Jackson more than 50 years. He was a retired farmer, and a member of Coila United Presbyterian Church.
Survivors are his wife, Jennie Wallace Card; a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth McIntosh of Troy; a son, Sheldon Card of Cambridge, and four grandchildren.
The funeral was conducted Wednesday afternoon at Charles A. Ackley Funeral Home, with the Rev. Neil Ramsaroop, pastor of Coila United Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be in Millertown Cemetery, Johnsonville, in the spring.
