Peggy Sue Venable, 79, passed away on June 7, 2019. Her service will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, June 10, 2019 at the Strode Funeral Home Chapel, 610 S. Duncan St. Stillwater, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Peggy was born on July 2, 1939 in Ripley, Oklahoma. She attended Ripley Elementary School and graduated from Stillwater High School. Peggy received her degree in cosmetology. Peggy worked as a cosmetologist and real estate agent. She married the love of her life, Bobby Lee Venable on July 6, 1960 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She was a member of Highland Park Methodist Church in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Leota Combs; siblings, Waldo Combs, J.C. Combs, Roe Combs, Betty Going, and Barbara Hicks; and other loved ones.
Peggy is survived by her husband, Bobby Venable; son, Rodney Venable and his wife Rhonda; daughters, Vicki Higgins and her husband Neal, Sherri Crane and her husband Chris, Terri Grove and her partner Keith Disney; ten grandchildren, Hunter Venable, Chase Venable, Kyle Devereaux, Cody Devereaux, Weston Crane, Angie Higgins, Alicia Higgins, Katie Higgins, John Higgins and Lindsey Gould; two great· grandchildren, Alyana Devereaux and Payne Gould . Along with many other loved ones.
