Bonnie Sue Potts, 81, of Holts Summit, Missouri passed away at her home surrounded by her family on June 3, 2019.

Private burial services will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.

Bonnie was born May 9, 1938, in Bland, Missouri, the daughter of the late August and Sadie (Blackwell) Rector. She was united in marriage to Gifford "Bill" Potts on December 17, 1958 in San Diego, California. Bill preceded her in death January 13, 2018.

Bonnie graduated from Bland High School in 1956. She had worked in Civil Services as a Clerk Typist at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Maryland.

Bonnie enjoyed collecting Coca Cola memorabilia but her greatest loves were her dogs, Snoopy and Brownie, watching the St. Louis Cardinals and "The Color Purple."

Survived by two daughters, Debbie Potts and Donna Potts, both of Holts Summit; two sons, Gilford "Gil" Potts Jr. of Jefferson City, Missouri and Patrick Potts of Holts Summit, Missouri: one grandson, Andrew Potts (Kari) of Wisconsin; one great-grandson, Dayton Potts; one sister, Barbara Juelys (Ervin) of St. Louis, Missouri; extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bonnie was also preceded in death b y one daughter, Pamela Miller; twin sons, Richard and Robert Potts; seven brothers and three sisters.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bonnie's family in care of Debo Funeral Home in Fulton, Missouri.
