James Ralph “Poochie” Gooch, 75, of Florence, AL, passed away June 4, 2019 at his residence. Mr. Gooch was retired from Lauderdale County Road Department and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Mr. Gooch is survived by: his Wife: Helen Little Gooch, Sons: Richard Franklin Gooch & James “Travis” Gooch,
Daughter: Rhonda Gail Gooch Hopson, Brother: Wayne Gooch, Sister: Bobby Ellis
(9) Grandchildren and (3) Great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents Robert Bayless Gooch and Oma Elizabeth Canerday Gooch.
Visitation will be Friday, June 7, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 P.M. with David Dowdy officiating. Burial will be Shiloh Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Sam Hopson, Kenneth Hopson, Adam Worley, Wayne Sharp, Mike Dowdy, and Sid Ellis.
