Euritha Willoughby Leatherwood, 93, of Phenix City, AL died at Magnolia Manor Nursing Home, Saturday, June 01, 2019.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, June 04, 2019 in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL Interment will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Leatherwood was born in Rocky Head, AL daughter of the late Charlie Welcome Willaby and Ethel Bell Willaby. She was a farmer’s daughter and loved to keep a small garden. Her energy was boundless, and she used it to care for and love babies and small children. Cooking was her gift that she freely shared with her family and friends, fried chicken, chicken and dumplings, dressing, and chili just to name a few. Her wisdom and memories will always be cherished in our hearts forever.

Mrs. Leatherwood was also preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Aaron Leatherwood, an infant son, Charles Leatherwood, and her sister, Vonnie Renfroe.

Survivors include her thee daughters, Patricia Ann Taylor (Larry), Carolyn Kent (Byron) and Shirley Paulk (Earnest) all of Phenix City, AL;
