Hugh White Jr.born in Upper Middletown Connecticut on January 16 1763. He was the third son to make the trip to Whitesboro.
He served in the Army for three years during the Revolutionary War, and later spent some time aboard a Privateer.
During his life in Whitesboro he was a farmer and shortly before his death on April 7, 1827 he moved to Shrewsbury New Jersey where he died.
He first married to Tryphena, the daughter of Jonas and Tryphena Lawrence of Canaan, Connecticut.
She was born on July 4, 1768 and died on. March 30, 1800aged 31.
He married for the second time to Susan Smith on March 5 1801,She was from Whitestown and died on July 21,1805.
Hugh and Tryphena had six children.
Hugh and Susan had one daughte.
