Ham was born on May 15, 1922, in Hickory Grove Township, Wisconsin, the son of Herman J. and Anna L. (Elliott) Beinborn. He married Dorothy M. Randall on December 9, 1948, in Decorah, Iowa. She preceded him in death on June 20, 2015.
Ham lived his life filled with faith, love, laughter, kindness and pride for serving his country. His faith in God never waivered. His love of family was incredible. Everyone in his family was loved like they were his favorite. He was proud of all of his kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. Ham was just fun. Everyone he met became his friend or another family member. During World War II he served his country honorably. A sports fan, his favorite teams were the Packers, Badgers, Brewers and whatever team one of his kids or grandkids played for. His passion was golf and he was out on the course nine days before he passed. Ham was a hard worker and owned his own business in Cuba City (Ben Franklin Store) for 15 years. After closing the store, he worked at the Cuba City Apartments for 32 years, retiring from there the week after he turned 95 years old. Ham moved into the Cuba City Apartments in the summer of 2017, which was also a godsend, where he was surrounded by so many loving and caring people. Ham will always be that shining light that has touched and inspired so many people. He was loved by many and he will be missed by many.
Survivors include his daughters, Pam (Larry "Stretch") Freymiller and Day (Dan) McWilliams, both of Cuba City, WI; his sons, Ed (Barb) Beinborn, Barneveld, WI and Denny (Melissa) Beinborn, Tampa Bay, Florida; a son-in-law, Roger Welbes, Cuba City, WI; 25 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Peggy Welbes; a daughter-in-law Paula Beinborn; a sister Gertrude St. Vincent; and his brothers, Charles, Fred, Vern, Bill, Herman "Punk", Lewis and an infant brother Robert.
