Margaret Anne McCabe-Steinhauser was born to John McCabe and Mary Jane Dolan on April 1, 1864, in Cootehill, Co. Cavan Ireland. She was rumored to be 1 of 12 sibilings. In 1888, Margaret left the Emerald Isle in search of thrills, and moved to America. She took residence in the Bronx, New York where she met and married Albert B. Steinhauser and had 3 children: Herbert J. Albert L and Althea F. On September 13, 1926 at the age of 62 Margaret died at 1408 Commonwealth Ave. of a heart attack. Rest In Peace.
