Florence Babcock
Mrs. Harry J. (Florence) Babcock, a former homemaker who lived at 2607 NE 20th Ave., died Wednesday in a nursing home. She was 91.
A resident of Portland since 1908, she was born in Tolland, Conn., on June 30, 1881. She graduated from Smith College in Massachusetts in 1902.
She is survived by her husband; daughters, Elizabeth Fleet, Mrs. Leif Jacobsen and Katherine Wintermute, all of Portland, and Mrs. George Gordon, Los Altos, Calif.; sister, Mrs. Fred Carpenter, Tolland; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral and interment will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday in Riverview Abbey Mausoleum.
