Paul Douglas Clark, 72 of Hershey, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 26, 2019 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was a lifelong resident of Derry Township and was born February 11, 1947 in the Hershey Hospital. Paul was the youngest son of the late Raymond L. and Edith F. Clark (nee Allen).

Paul grew up in Palmdale and was a 1966 graduate of M S Hershey Jr. Sr. High School. He participated in football and wrestling. He was an Air Force veteran of the Viet Nam Conflict, having served in Germany as an Early Warning Radar Operator. Following his honorable discharge, he began his Engineering career with Gannett Fleming Engineers in Harrisburg.

Paul married Eileen Miller on October 12, 1968 at Gravel Hill United Methodist Church, Palmyra. Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Jennifer L. Best (Robert) of Palmyra and Janelle M. Orris (Wesley) of Harrisburg; four grandchildren, Abbey Krahling, Samantha Krahling, Robert Best, and Edie Orris. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother, Kenneth R. in 2010.

Paul was a member of First United Methodist Church of Hershey. He was a former member and Past President of the Trustees and served on Church Council. Paul was a member and Past President of the Hershey Rotary Club and a Paul Harris Fellow; a member and Past Master of Brownstone Masonic Lodge. In addition he was a member of the Harrisburg Consistory SSRP and Zembo Shrine. He served as a Derry Township Supervisor from 1991 thru 2005. During his tenure he was a founding member of the Derry Township Industrial & Commercial Development Authority and the General Authority. He and his wife served as Republican Committee persons. Paul also served as member and Past Chair of the Dauphin Co. Planning Commission and the Tri-County Planning Commission . He also served on and chaired the Dauphin Co. Industrial Development Authority and General Authority.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 29th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with Masonic Funeral Services at 5:30 pm in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Route 422 & Lucy Avenue, Hershey and also Thursday, May 30th from 10:00 am – 11:00 am. with funeral services following at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the Hershey Cemetery.
