She will be remembered by graduates of Peacock Military Academy as the beautiful and gracious wife of the late BG Donald Wing Peacock, Commandant of Cadets; by friends and family as a source of inspiration and pride; a strong and elegant lady; remarkable and fun.
She was a member of Laurel Heights Methodist Church, the Salvation Army Auxiliary, the San Antonio Woman's Club and San Antonio Musical Club. For many years, she was an active member of the Blue Bird Auxiliary at Methodist Hospital.
Mrs. Peacock is survived by three daughters; Sue Ellen Hains and her husband, John Hains of Los Alamos, New Mexico; Donna Edith Peacock of San Antonio; Dorothy Lee Peacock of Cortez, Colorado; three grandchildren, Paige Averill Hains, Donaldson Peacock Hains and wife, Carmelina Hains, and Kyle Wesley Sanders; sister-in-law, Helen Lee; niece, Janice Lee Floyd and nephew, Jerry Lee.
