Daughter of Duncan and Nancy (McDonald) McArthur. Duncan McArthur was a US Congressman who was elected Governor of Ohio in 1830. Margaret married Robert Kercheval in Ross County, OH, on Sept. 17, 1816. Died at the residence of her father, at the age of 28.
