Mr. Bennett was born Dec. 9, 1960, in Independence, to Ronald Sr., and Patricia Kay (Shields) Bennett. He grew up in Independence and attended local schools. He was a welder and had worked in construction.
Survivors of Ronald Bennett, Jr., include: One daughter, Mary Bennett, Independence, KS. One sister; Cheryl Rayl, Independence, KS. Two brothers; Jim Bennett and Richard Bennett, both of Independence, KS. A companion; Tammy Wilson, El Dorado, KS. Two grandchildren; Cynthia Dawn and Justice LeAnne Ainesworth.
