Mrs. Beatrice Hutto Cole, 82, died Tuesday, May 30, 2006, at Watauga Medical Center.

A native of Reevesville, S.C., she was a daughter of Alonzo Harry and Corine McAlhany Hutto; and the wife of Clyde Thomas Cole.

Mrs. Cole was retired from Sears Distribution Center as office manager in the auditing department and a member of Valle Crucis United Methodist Church where she was active in the Bible study group.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Lillie Fralix, Hilda George and Betty Hutto, and her infant sister; and three brothers, Ellis, Harry and Woodrow Hutto.

Burial followed in Mount Lawn Memorial Park and Gardens.
