COURTNEY-IRVINE, DOROTHY E. - The death of Dorothy E. Courtney-Irvine of Quispamsis, wife of the late John E. Courtney and the late Walter Irvine occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, October 24, 2014. Dot was born in Berlin, NH, USA on November 5, 1914, a daughter of the late Henry and Annie (Cushman) Oliver. She was predeceased by her daughter Shirley Ann Lourie, three brothers and two sisters. Dot is survived by her son-in-law Don Lourie, her brother Fred (Leha) Oliver and several nieces and nephews.
Although there is no visiting at the funeral home friends and relatives are welcome to attend the funeral service to be held at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road (634-7425) on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 2:00 PM. Interment to take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens at a later date. For those who wish, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
